Natural Vitamin-C (An Effective blend of naturally occurring beneficial phytogenic extracts) (NPOP/IM/16219758)   INTRODUCTION: Prions Biotech offers natural phytogenic blend VITAMIN-C. This is a new concept in the Veterinary ecosystem. Its active ingredients have been developed by Indian Biotechnology company (PRIONS BIOTECH PVT LTD). This formulation contains natural phytogenic extract of herbs and Plant extracts. NATURAL VITAMIN-C meets higher physiological requirements of vitamin C in various conditions especially during summer and other stressful conditions and first two weeks of life in chicks. A possible approach to counteracting the negative effects of heat stress among chickens could be the supplementation of birds with Vitamin C.    NATURAL VITAMIN-C plays a major role in the biosynthesis of corticosterone, a primary glucocorticoid hormone involved in gluconeogenesis to enhance energy supply during stress. However, under critically high ambient temperatures, the production of Vitamin C in broilers is inadequate for optimum performance.
